This WOW goes to Anil Verma, a Senior Solutions Architect in Ottawa.
Anil was instrumental in helping one of our customers unleash their potential in the cloud.
One of our customers reached out to us to understand how to add Microsoft Azure to their Enterprise Agreement (EA). At the time, they were looking for a set of instructions on how to move to the cloud. In response, Cobey Haskins, the Outbound Sales Representative on the account, booked a meeting for Anil and the customer to discuss their plans for cloud and what they wanted to achieve in the long term. Turns out that the leadership team wanted the company to be fully operating in the cloud within two years. Through his conversations with the customer, Anil understood that they had a variety of cloud needs from infrastructure to SaaS solutions to productivity support, but they didn’t know where to start.
Focusing on the customer’s desired business outcomes, Anil challenged them to think differently about their approach to cloud. He recommended breaking down the project into two streams: one focused on modernizing their infrastructure, and another focused on enabling a modern workplace, leveraging Azure, Office 365 and our #3 world-ranked Softchoice Keystone Managed Services.
Anil hosted several sessions with the customer’s IT team and end users, explaining the overarching strategy and making sure everyone understood what it meant for them. The customer was very appreciative of that: “I must tell you that your presence at the workshops is adding a tremendous amount of value to the process and I really appreciate you being there. Your ability to bridge the gap between the theory part of the use case development and real life implementations is really helping users with thinking about what their pain points are and how digital transformation can help them.”
