This WOW goes to Carson Widynowski, Sales Analyst and ONEsoftchoice Co-Chair; Chris Tang, Program Manager and ONEsoftchoice Co-Chair; and Pete Morra, Community Investment Manager, who all work out of our Toronto office.
These passionate individuals joined forces to lead the creation and execution of our first-ever Social Impact & Engagement Month with the help more than a dozen employees across the organization from our ONEsoftchoice committee, our employee resource groups and our Softchoice Cares board.
Throughout the month of July 2018, Softchoice employees participated in a series of events highlighting Softchoice’s commitment to fostering a compassionate, inclusive and giving culture. Some of the events included executive engagement sessions with Softchoice senior leaders and a cultural diversity and awareness keynote, as well as a high-profile panel discussion with speakers from the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Microsoft Canada and the Canadian Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce who discussed the positive benefits of social impact on business outcomes.
From planning the events and preparing the speakers to hosting and coordinating live webcasts so that all employees across North America could participate in the sessions, Carson, Chris and Pete championed our values “We Grow our People… first,” “We Take Care of Each Other” and “We Own the End Result.”
