Cecilia has the ability to instill her passion in the people she works with, bringing them together on major Softchoice projects, and making everyone excited to contribute to the outcome. She is unafraid to be challenged as she always keeps learning and looking for ways to push the Softchoice status quo.
The nature of her work brought Cecilia to work with a multitude of people across the business – and impose the difficult task of solving business problems in teams that she does not belong to. Those teams say that she takes the time to listen before making recommendations, and is a pleasure to work with. Her tact in handling herself in these situations demonstrated her strong change leadership skills. She diplomatically directs each process, highlighting the path to drive the results required.
In 2017, she was particularly instrumental in the completion of two major internal projects, including a company-wide initiative to better structure Softchoice’s resources around the customer.
Despite having a heavy project workload, she always finds time to coach and mentor junior members on her team, and she takes the time to share her knowledge and expertise with others.
