This WOW goes to Emily Turner, a Territory Sales Representative in Toronto.
Emily recently went above and beyond her own objectives and workload to demonstrate her customer passion.
The Softchoice Territory Sales team was managing two complex Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for converged and hyper-converged architecture solutions. Both projects required a lot of coordination, as they involved many different internal and external resources, and were framed within very tight timelines.
When the team was shorthanded at a critical juncture of the overall process, Emily stepped into both opportunities and took control of the projects. This was in addition to her own heavy customer workload and in spite of the fact that winning either opportunity would not count toward her own sales targets for the year.
She not only made sure that all elements of the RFP responses were complied with, she also thought strategically in terms of vendor alliances, solutions and registration policies, and made sure each solution Softchoice was putting forward would be right for the customer and fit their needs.
