The 2017 Atlas award – our top honor for individuals in Operations – goes to Neneh Thepar, a Strategy Analyst in Toronto.
Neneh exemplifies outstanding leadership by consistently taking on responsibilities that go above and beyond her title and directive. She takes the goals of the company to heart, and works hard to get us closer to achieving it. She invests herself in every project she takes on and is rapidly seen as an expert on the issue at hand.
She continuously questions the status quo and looks to improve our internal processes to better serve our external customers. When tasked with identifying and selecting an annual planning tool for the company, Neneh took on the project from beginning to end – driving the selection and implementation of the tool, as well as the end-user training.
Demonstrating customer passion, she also co-led Softchoice’s Customer Retention Taskforce in 2016, working on several retention activities to ensure our customers always have the best experience.
The Atlas award is the highest honor in Softchoice Operations. It is named after the Greek Titan who used his incredible strength and endurance to bear the pillars that held the earth and heavens in place. The award recognizes a member of our Operations team who best displays the endurance, persistence, and diligence to get the job done every day.
