Softchoice named to CRN’s Elite 150 Managed Service Providers list

TORONTO, ON – March 6, 2018 – Softchoice, a leading North American IT solutions and managed services provider, is pleased to announce that CRN has named Softchoice to its 2018 Managed Service Provider (MSP) 500 list in the Elite 150 category.

This annual list from CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, recognizes North American solution providers with cutting-edge approaches to delivering managed services. Their offerings help companies navigate the complex and ever-changing landscape of IT, improve operational efficiencies, and maximize their return on IT investments.

“IT teams grapple with staying on top of day-to-day activities, let alone finding time to engage their end users and drive adoption of the collaboration and productivity tools at their disposal,” said Todd Simpson, vice president of Managed Services, Softchoice. “Softchoice helps IT teams by taking the mundane support tasks off their plate while enhancing their internal IT skillsets. More importantly, we increase the agility of their whole business by optimizing hybrid IT infrastructures that drive critical business initiatives forward.”

Softchoice Keystone Managed Services combine the enterprise-grade support of a large, multi-national outsourcer with the personalized touch of a local solution provider. Softchoice’s portfolio of managed services provides a comprehensive support strategy based on each customer’s unique requirements. This includes 24/7 support, proactive issue resolution, regular reporting and unlimited mentorship, so IT teams can call to get advice on new features and configurations and not just when there’s an issue.

Softchoice’s world-class managed service offerings center on two core areas:

1. Optimizing Hybrid IT infrastructure and workloads, focused on:

  • On-premise data center modernization and management
  • Optimization, management, and cost governance of public cloud
  • Network readiness solutions

2. Enabling end users to adopt and leverage technology to its fullest, focused on:

  • Workplace productivity and mobility
  • Collaboration technologies

In today’s fast-paced business environments, MSPs play an important role in helping companies leverage new technologies without straining their budgets or losing focus on their core business. CRN’s MSP 500 list shines a light on the most forward-thinking and innovative of these key organizations. The list is divided into three categories: the MSP Pioneer 250, recognizing companies with business models weighted toward managed services and largely focused on the SMB market; the MSP Elite 150, recognizing large, data center-focused MSPs with a strong mix of on-premises and off-premises services; and the Managed Security 100, recognizing MSPs focused primarily on off-premise, cloud-based security services.

“Managed service providers have become integral to the success of businesses everywhere, both large and small,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “Capable MSPs enable companies to take their cloud computing to the next level, streamline spending, effectively allocate limited resources and navigate the vast field of available technologies. The companies on CRN’s 2018 MSP 500 list stand out for their innovative services, excellence in adapting to customers’ changing needs and demonstrated ability to help businesses get the most out of their IT investments.”
