Logitech MeetUp Is Now Certified for Google Hangouts

Uncategorized | Posted on August 28, 2018 by schap

Earlier this year we announced the launch of a new Hangouts Meet hardware kit that includes the Logitech PTZ Pro 2. Today, we have some more good news to share with you.

As of today, Logitech MeetUp is certified for Google Hangouts Meet hardware with support beginning with ChromeOS version 69. If you’re not familiar, MeetUp is a premier conference cam designed for small video conference rooms and huddle rooms. With a compact all-in-one design that minimizes cable clutter and helps keep you focused on the task at hand.

As businesses move to open floor plans, huddle rooms are becoming increasingly common. We’ve watched a number of vendors go after this space with stripped-down versions of their existing huddle room systems. What makes MeetUp stand out from all the other video conferencing solutions in the market today is that it was purpose-built from the ground up with small meeting rooms and huddle spaces in mind. And that makes it the perfect companion to Google Hangouts Meet for smaller-sized video meeting rooms.

We’ll be showing MeetUp with Google Hangouts Meet at InfoComm 2018 this year, so if you happen to be in Las Vegas for the show, please stop by the Logitech booth (N2622). We hope to see you there! And if you can’t make it to Vegas, you can always contact your reseller partner.
